Written by British first-time screenwriter Angela Pell, and set in the middle of winter in Wawa, Ontario Canada, SNOW CAKE is an engaging and original story which explores the odd friendship between a high-functioning woman named Linda (Sigourney Weaver) and Alex (Alan Rickman), a quiet, brooding man traumatised after being involved in a fatal car accident. Alex comes into Linda's life following a personal twist of fate...
