DIGIVILLE
Tuesday 28th February 2006

This event explored new forms of narrative in digital art and film, through the presentation of the work of:

Dane Watkins: currently exploring conventional drawing and animation in digital environments, producing work 'more similar to kinetic sculptures than linear narrative' (see www.eatmydata.co.uk). Dane will also chair the evening's discussion.
Sarah Fraser: South Afican animator exploring new narratives in relation to the project Journey to Freedom
Blast Theory: pioneers of pervasive gaming work and internationally renowned as one of the most adventurous artists' groups using interactive media (see www.blasttheory.co.uk)
Steven Eastwood: founding member of artist movement OMSK, whose practice spans fiction, documentary and artists’ film and video (see www.cinemaintothereal.org and www.pinkpink.demon.co.uk)
Ruth Hinkel-Pevzner: currently collaborating with the South East Film and Video Archive to create new narratives from those imposed on found footage.
