GUIDING LIGHTS

2006-2012

FILM INDUSTRY MENTORING SCHEME

Guiding Lights is the UK’s most prestigious film industry mentoring scheme. First launched in 2006, it supports talented filmmakers by matching them each with a leading film professional who provides one-to-one advice and guidance over a 9-month period.

Alongside the mentoring, a number of training and networking events take place, with participants attending film festivals such as Galway Film Fleadh, London Film Festival and Edinburgh International Film Festival. Further access to high-level industry is provided through an online networking facility.

Guiding Lights has now launched its 2011/2012 scheme, find out more about this year’s Mentors and Mentees
