They have exhibited at Tate Britain, Nottingham Contemporary, MACBA in Barcelona, the Sao Paolo Biennale, the Hayward Gallery and many other galleries internationally.

Their new commission, I See Infinite Distance Between Any Point and Another, centres on a reading of Adnan’s poem, Sea, published recently in the her new collection, Sea and Fog (2012).

Etel Adnan (1925, Beirut, Lebanon) is a poet, essayist, and visual artist, who has become a major figure within contemporary literature. Her highly influential writings in French, English and Arabic have been read around the world. She has been described as “arguably the most celebrated and accomplished Arab American author writing today” (T. Ludescher). Sea and Fog marks a return to the themes and motifs of the sea for Adnan, who’s first volume of poems, Le Livre de la Mer (Book of the Sea) was published almost 60 years ago. Sea and Fog explores the elemental symbolism of the sea, in meditative writing, rich with metaphor, myth and cosmologies.
